If residences may be reserved for long term leases by corporate clients, either for corporate incentives or travel agency promotion:
a. Will this make the ship population more transient and thus affect ambience?
b. Will residents be competing with Storylines to lease out units seasonally?
We don’t anticipate a significant enough number of short term travelers to affect ambience. All rentals have a three month minimum stay to avoid this issue. If a corporation were to acquire residences, the rule applies that Founders Circle members get priority for rentals. Keep in mind that it also depends when the unit is put into the marketplace. We recommend listing your property for rent far in advance for the best exposure. In saying that, offering quick turnaround on luxury ships for world itineraries is also in extremely high demand.
